Medicare Power of AttorneyA power of attorney is a legal document allowing you to appoint another person to make health, property, financial, and other legal decisions on your behalf.

Choose this individual carefully. Whoever you select to manage your finances could play an important role in how and when you receive medical care.

Changing your coverage:

Already in a Medicare Advantage plan, but looking to switch?

If you want to switch to Original Medicare, contact 1-800-MEDICARE or get in touch with your current plan.

Want a different MA plan? During AEP, simply select your new plan, and you’ll be automatically dis-enrolled from your previous plan when your new coverage begins.

What if you have other coverage?

Make sure you talk to your current plan administrator (union, employer, or other benefits administrator). In some cases, when you join an MA plan, it could cause you to lose coverage you currently have.
