What is Medicare Open Enrollment (aka OEP)?Medicare Annual Enrollment Period is every year from October 15th through December 7th. The Medicare AEP is your opportunity to make changes each year to your Medicare health and drug plans. Each year cost, coverage and what providers and pharmacies are included in your network may change. October 15 through December 7th is when all Medicare beneficiaries can change their plans and coverage for the following year.

It is recommended to review the materials of your plan, including the “Evidence of Coverage” and “Annual Notice of Change” every year. Should you learn your current plan is changing it is a good idea to make sure your plan fits your needs for the following year. If you are satisfied with your current plan, then no need to make changes or do anything.
